Where a date governs something consequential — a filing deadline, a contractual notice period, a court schedule — the authority is the rule that governs it, not this site. This site knows the eleven US federal holidays; it does not know your court's calendar, your carrier's shutdown, or a state holiday, and it says so rather than guessing.
